My name is Brandy. I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades. I never think that something is out of reach. I love to be the person that people look to for advice on my experiences. I am a type A organizer, but also a free spirit. I’d like to think that I am the perfect Virgo/Libra cusp. My clothes in my closet are hung up by color in order from tank tops to short sleeves to long sleeves, but when I do laundry, I have a pile of clean clothes in my laundry basket for longer than I would care to admit right now (a long time…long). I am a PE teacher and have always loved watching and playing sports, but I was also involved in drama and I was the lead singer of an alternative rock band right out of college. I have planned every excursion for vacations and been a legal assistant, a day of wedding planner, and worked for a photographer.
Remember that thing about being in a rock band? That’s how I met my husband. Our bands used to play shows together. He actually wrote on the wall of the local radio station that he was my “future ex husband” before we even officially met. ::swoon:: Now here we are, almost 11 years later, with two kids and a mortgage and a busy, amazing, life.
I have experienced a lot in my life to get me where I am today. I have had many ups and many, many, downs. As the title of this page says, Life Isn’t Freaking Easy. It isn’t supposed to be! If someone makes you think that it is, they are a dang liar! Everyone has a dark side. Everyone has moments of being overwhelmed, exhausted, over excited and then let down. Those moments are what make you a stronger and wiser person. Don’t ever think that you are alone. We are ALL right there with you.
